National Campaign for Education Nepal is going to conduct a research on Temporary Learning Centers of Nepal via case study collection so as to reveal the situations of the Temporary Learning Centers. The research work also aims to prepare the advocacy material so as to lobby the government to build back better with disaster resilient infrastructure.

 In this regard, National Campaign for Education Nepal solicits consultancy services from qualified consultant/consultants to undertake this study. The research will be based on Primary data including collection of the six cases from disaster affected areas of Nepal and analysis of the cases thus collected. The primary data will be generated from the following methodologies:

Moreover, the consultant will apply the following methodologies;

  1. Observation
  2. Interview
  3. Focus Group Discussion

The Scope of work

  • Develop and share research concept note, plan and methodology
  • Develop questionnaires, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) guidelines, and design other required forms and formats
  • Review of the quantitative and qualitative status of TLCs,
  • Field visit and collection of the cases.
  • Appraise the scenario of the schools and analyze the main factors responsible for providing quality education.
  • Conduct consultative meeting with NCE Nepal
  • Organize sharing workshop for data validation
  • Prepare draft report and share with NCE Nepal team.
  • Finalize the report in the published forms incorporating the feedbacks from consortium
