NCE Nepal engages on identifying the status of Pre-Service teachers in the context of Nepal. The research reveals about the contextual problems of the pre-service teachers where the major problem is that the teachers entered the teaching profession before they are trained. Since, teachers have an instrumental role in enhancing the overall development of students by nurturing their interests and sharpening their instincts, the research recommended on developing research and innovation techniques to capacitate teachers; adopt culturally responsive pedagogy to address inclusion, equity and equality among the students; familiarize with ICT and e-learning to equip students to meet the quality of knowledge in the global world.
